The first few weeks of school are always hectic, even more so with Ramadan starting at the same time as the academic year. We've put together a few pointers to help you have the most beneficial and smooth Ramadan possible on campus.
Need to know what time maghib is coming in? Check out the Ann Arbor Adhan time at here: adhan times.
Had a long day, and wondering where the MSA iftaar is at? Check out the daily iftaars locations.
If you have any questions or concerns about iftaars, or want to host one (there are few things better than feeding your fasting brothers and sisters!!!!) contact our iftaar coordinators Najma Khatri (

to see if there are rides available.
If you are a freshman in the residence halls, you don't have to let your meal plans go to waste!!! Apply to get your meal credits converted to Bluebucks that you can use anytime at other restaurants around campus at this link http://www.housing.umich.edu/dining/ramadan.html. Right now may be a little past the deadline, but if you speak to the dining hall manager/directors, they are very accomodating. Also, for suhoor in the dining halls, there is a way to get a box lunch to eat at breakfast in place of a meal credit, make sure to speak to the dining hall manager about that as well.
